The Greene County Ministerial Association will host an ecumenical Thanksgiving service this Sunday, Nov. 20, at 6 pm at Central Christian Church in Jefferson.
Pastor Devin Wolters of the First Baptist Church of Jefferson will share the message. The Greene County Singers and a mass choir will provide music.
A free will donation will be taken for the Ministerial Association’s Good Samaritan Fund, which provides emergency assistance at the discretion of area pastors.
There will be a second ecumenical Thanksgiving service Wednesday, Nov. 23, at 7 pm at the First Presbyterian Church in Grand Junction. Other churches participating are the Grand Junction United Methodist Churches of Grand Junction and Rippey and St Brigid Catholic Church of Grand Junction.
All are welcome at either service.
